large, visually stunning crowd attractor for
the front of your haunt! DeadEyes™,
an Illusionator exclusive, is a large vinyl banner,
94" tall and 59¾" wide (just under 8 feet
tall and 5 feet wide), with the image of
terrifying face that has
moving eyes! We have
8 different stock face designs
and 4 different eye styles.
Or, we can also use an image of your haunt's own
signature character at no extra charge, using any of the 4 eye styles. The banner is completely customized to your
specifications, with your logo and message,
and all customization is included in the price. The banner itself is a
custom-printed, indoor-outdoor, heavy-duty,
permanently solvent-printed, woven-scrim vinyl. See a diagram of the large banner to the right.
Below, you can see all of our stock
designs and eye styles, but you can
choose any eye style with any stock design,
and the name of your attraction and other information can be added at no extra
charge in any style you wish.

The moving eyes with the huge face is amazing (see the image to the right). We introduced DeadEyes™ at HAuNTcon in May 2007, and nearly everyone who walked by our booth stopped in their tracks and stared. Several folks told us it was the best new haunt product of the year. A number of nationally known haunted attractions have purchased DeadEyes™, and they have been extremely pleased. Please see some of the DeadEyes we have made for our customers here.
The moving eyes effect is achieved with a small,
solid state media playback
unit, which feeds into a VGA splitter, which then sends the same
video of a moving eye to two large, 20" LCD monitors, one behind each
of two eye holes that are cut into the banner (see the video
at the bottom of this page). Included in the
$980 price are the 5'x8' custom banner, the monitors, the video player with the
moving eye video installed inside of it, and the VGA splitter. Mount the
monitors inside a wall of your haunt, attach the banner in front, and you are

If you would rather not install the LCD monitors into your haunt wall, we offer an optional modular sturdy metal shelving unit to hold the banner and the LCD monitors behind it. The shelving works beautifully, looks great, and easily disassembles for compact storage in the off-season. The shelving unit is available for $350. DeadEyes™ is a big effect at a great price. Use it for line entertainment at your attraction, to attract customers who are driving by, or as the misdirecting focus point in the setup for a scare inside your haunt.
